Welcome to Epiphany Eight Farms

Where each bloom tells a unique story, and every visit is like an epiphany.

Welcome to Epiphany Eight Farms

Epiphany Eight Farms was born from a shared dream. My husband, Moe, and I envisioned a place where we could connect with the earth, and I had long dreamed of growing flowers. When these dreams came together, it was like an epiphany—sudden, clear, and full of inspiration. While I have a background in event and floral design, today I focus on growing the flowers themselves, letting their beauty speak for itself.

The name "Epiphany Eight" holds deep significance for me. The number eight has always been my favorite—I’m born on the 8th—and every great idea seems to come to me like a spark of epiphany. That’s how this farm came to life, and it continues to guide our journey.

Our Mission
At Epiphany Eight Farms, our mission is to cultivate joy, foster genuine connections, and spread happiness through the beauty of flowers. Every bloom tells a unique story, and we’re committed to offering peace, serenity, and new experiences to all who visit our farm. It’s not just about growing flowers; it’s about growing a community, a family, and a future.

Our Values
We are passionate about sustainability, community, and creativity. As a Black-owned flower farm in Southern Maryland, this journey has been especially meaningful to us. When we were planning our wedding, I sought out Black vendors and realized there weren’t any Black flower growers in our area. That’s when I decided to become one of the first Black flower farmers in Maryland. Since then, we’ve found a beautiful community of Black flower farmers who continue to inspire and uplift us.

Balancing Life on the Farm
Balancing full-time jobs while nurturing our flower farm has been a wild ride, but it’s one we embrace with open hearts and endless enthusiasm. Every step of this journey has been about growing something meaningful—not just flowers, but a dream and a future.

What Makes Epiphany Eight Farms Special
We specialize in growing Dahlias, Zinnias, Snapdragons, Heirloom Chrysanthemums, Peonies, Sunflowers, and more. Whether it's through our unique mixed bouquets or the straight bunches we offer at our roadside stand, we aim to bring the vibrant colors and joy of our blooms to everyone. The magic for me is in watching a tiny seed grow into something beautiful and unique. Each bloom is a reminder of the beauty found in growth, and we are honored to share that with our community.

Our Community Connection
We are proud members of the ASCFG (Association of Specialty Cut Flower Growers), the Maryland Cut Flower Association, the Slow Flowers organization, and the Black Flower Farmers group. These networks help us continue to grow, learn, and connect with others in the flower farming world.

For our customers, we want to offer more than just flowers—we want to create an experience. When you visit Epiphany Eight Farms, we want you to feel fulfilled, inspired, and surrounded by the peace and beauty of nature.

The Future of Epiphany Eight Farms
Looking ahead, we’re excited about growing our farm and expanding what we offer. From specialty items like tote bags, t-shirts, and candles to dried flower wreaths and confetti, we’re always dreaming of new ways to share the joy of flowers. We have long-term goals for the farm, and we can’t wait to continue growing alongside our community.

Join Us on Our Journey
At Epiphany Eight Farms, we believe in the power of community, growth, and the simple joy that flowers bring. Whether you're picking up a bouquet from our stand or stopping by for a visit, we can’t wait to share the beauty of our blooms with you.

Meet the team

Epiphany Eight Farms is more than just a farm—it’s a family effort. My husband, David aka Moe, is our DIY wizard and the backbone of our dreams. With hands skilled in building and a love for nature and family, Moe turns every vision into reality, one project at a time. He’s also a fan of smoking meat and spending time outdoors.

My mom is our number one supporter and always ready to help with planting or anything the farm needs. She has a deep love for flowers and beauty, and she brings her wisdom and warmth to everything she does. A woman of faith, she loves to read, talk, and watch movies—if you name a film, she’s probably seen it!

As for me, I’m a conversationalist with a deep-rooted love for flowers, cooking, and DIY projects. I believe in the power of laughter, the joy of creativity, and the magic of flowers to bring people together. My love for British crime shows and cooking (it’s my love language!) keeps me grounded, while working with flowers allows my creativity to bloom.
